Artist Statement

I try to find the magic in the world around me. I build a utopia for myself when making and hope to capture a piece of my existence/experience on paper. I am consumed and always have been by making, creating a story that is my own but communicates to someone. It is that need for communication that drives me despite the weight of the world around and also in spite of it.
